the two of them

oh, the two of them. they have such a typical sister relationship.

they fight. they love. they laugh. they cry. they share. they take toys and run (this one is the more popular choice).

as they're growing our house is growing a bit more hectic. they fight over who gets to sit on daddy's lap. they fight over who gets to play "princess party" with my hair. they fight over who gets to play with the blue cup - because god forbid the pink, purple or teal cups get played with. ellie's a fan of taking madison's toys and running away like a maniac.

but they give each other hugs every morning at daycare drop off, and every afternoon at pick up. madison wants so badly to help potty train ellie (who still insists that diapers are cooler than the toilet). they will play together nicely...even if it's only for 5-10 minute increments. they laugh and giggle and play at bed time and nap time up in their room.

they make our house a bit crazy, but make our hearts overflow.

feeling froggy?

it's froggy friday at the lilypad! the designers have some super cute new releases...but then again, when do they not?! i've got two layouts to share with you. on this first one i did something that i don't think i've ever done before - use the same picture twice on the layout.

disney world

on saturday we took our first family trip to disney world! it was my first trip ever, and of course it was the first trip for the girls. we were planning on going in july for both of their birthdays but decided that going before the scorching summer heat may be a smarter choice (for the record, it was about 95 degrees and disgustingly humid on saturday). the girls had an absolute blast. they were in awe all day long. madison's favorite things were meeting mickey & minnie, the goofy rollercoaster and it's a small world. ellie's favorites were dumbo, the carousel and philharmusic. they both loved the peter pan ride and all of the parades/performances.

and the last picture is of them right as we were getting ready to leave. they were exhausted after a 10 hour day there but were still in good spirits (i'm sure the m&m's didn't hurt either). madison has asked every day since if we can go back tomorrow. it's a good thing it's just a short drive for now!
